San Juan Outdoor Club is a 501(c) tax exempt organization. Our main source of income is members’ annual dues. Other sources are raffles at various meetings and occasional special events and donations. We use this income:

• To put on an annual picnic where the Club provides the main dishes and members contribute the rest.
• To purchase safety devices for hikes such as AEDs and satellite communication devices for use in an emergency when cell service is not available.
• Club Insurance.
